The exhibition After the Fact argues that we are experiencing a
loss of reality, whose construction and foundations in the media, as
well as the responses of artists, will be queried and commented upon
critically in this symposium. The lectures will address the
indispensability and power of documentary images and thus the current
limits of the documentary for art and culture.
